About Us

Welcome to City of Zion Cambridge!

We are a multicultural Pentecostal Church under the umbrella of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). The Redeemed Christian Church of God was founded in 1952 by way of divine inspiration. Over the years it has grown to be a world-wide church organisation that is established in over 180 Countries reaching out and touching the lives of many. City of Zion Cambridge is built on the foundations of the Word of God, continually engaging in fellowship with God and one another in truth and spirit via our various weekly services and Sunday fellowships. 

We welcome all to come and seek out time in the presence of the Lord and find Jesus impacting all aspects of life. Birthing saints who live a purpose driven life, excelling in their God given callings and enjoying an abundant life in Christ. If you would like to become a member, you can visit us in person.

What We Believe

We believe in the infallible and authoritative Word of God given to direct all men and women to Salvation through the birth of Jesus, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

The Second Coming of Jesus

We believe that Jesus will come again to earth in glory and the dead in Christ will rise and those who are alive in Christ will be translated into the presence of God for eternity.

We believe that the Blood of Jesus Christ was shed for us on the cross at Calvary, cleanses us from all sins and grants us access into the presence of God.

The Baptism of Water and the Holy Spirit

The Baptism of Water and the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Water Baptism by emersion, and the Baptism by the Holy Spirit. This is freely available to all who believes in Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and is manifested by the gift of speaking in unknown tongues.

We believe in the three Persons of the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit – three in One.

We believe in the gift from God through His grace and faith in Jesus Christ; that all who believes in Him may be saved from sin, whilst trusting in His death, resurrection on the third day, and are born-again by the Holy Spirit. And that He ascended into heaven and is forever seated on the right hand of God the Father.

We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of our church and fully submit ourselves to His will. In every aspect of our ministry our goal is always to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.

To love is also to give, support and minister to the needs of our brothers and sisters. We don’t wait until there is a need, we give outside of needs!

All members are encouraged to respect and reverence the divine authority of God made manifest in the Bible and in the church authority. We are inspired to respect the law of the land and one another.

Without Holiness, no man will see the Lord. All members are always admonished to abstain from all manner of immorality and present themselves as Men and Women of integrity unto others and unto God.

We believe God ordained the family to glorify him. We are committed to cultivate an atmosphere which promotes spiritual growth within the family by reaching families with the gospel, discipling them in Christ-like character and teaching each family member how to fulfill their God-given role.
